Cancellation Policy
In order to avoid any inconvenience, we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance which will cover any circumstance where ShoreTours cannot reimburse you.
The total payment for the service of our guides is made at the time of the order.
As our guides are in high demand, we recommend that you book as soon as possible after booking your cruise or trip. This is all the more so as you can cancel your order up to 7 days before the start of the service without penalty other than € 35 processing fees.
Our cancellation conditions are as follows:
Cancellation up to 30 days from the date of the service: 100% refund of the amount of the reservation.
Cancellation from 30 days and up to 7 days before the scheduled date of the service: Refund of the amount of your reservation less any card or bank tranfer fees, and €35 processing fee . Certain sums already committed by the guide may be retained, such as purchases of external services (transport, entrance tickets to attractions, etc., for which the guide will not get any refund).
If the Customer is more than 45 minutes late for a Private Tour, the Booking will be treated as cancelled and the Customer shall have no right to a refund.
Cancellation less than 7 days: Penalty of 100% of the amount of your reservation.
FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure is defined as any event for which the customer is not responsible, such as war, insurrection, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, strikes or extreme weather conditions that make the provision of the service impossible or dangerous for the safety of customers. For example, weather conditions or any other event preventing a cruise ship from arriving at the port scheduled in the original itinerary are also considered to be cases of force majeure, as is the delay of more than 2 hours or the cancellation of an arriving flight when the customer's pick-up point is located at the airport.
For all other cancellations for personal reasons (illness, accident before departure, etc.), the standard cancellation conditions apply.
In all cases of force majeure, the refund is 100% less the costs already incurred by the guide (see above)
Finally, if the cancellation takes place on the decision of the guide in the event that the service cannot be carried out under normal security conditions for the customer, refund will be made at 100% of the amount of the reservation, or, at the customer's choice, under form of postponement of the date of the service if possible, either in the form of a credit note, or finally by refund on the customer's card or bank account.
All cancellations related to the Covid-19 epidemic will be considered as FORCE MAJEURE and treated as such according to our cancellation policy (illness of the client or a family member, cancellation by the company or the Tour Operator, travel ban established by the governments of the countries visited or the country of residence and all causes related to the epidemic and justifying the cancellation).
