Kipsala with its wooden architecture is located on the left embankment of the Daugava river and offers a beautiful panoramic view to Riga Old Town.

Riga Old Town has cobbled streets , comfortable shoes are needed.
Riga Central Market is closed on January 1st and June 24th.
During state holidays - May 4th, November 18th , also during some sport events and local festivals like Song and Dance Celebration, many streets can be closed for transport.
